• Privately owned in Indianapolis, E&A Industries, specializing in turning great products into great brands, announced that they recently bought New York based apparel company Lysse’s Ready-to-wear Shapewear line. For women who workout and still struggle to lose that stubborn belly bulge, this maybe your solution.

Beth Gold Cohen created the idea for Lysse after gaining weight while battling breast cancer. “At that time, none of my jeans or stretch leggings fit. Then one day I had a flash of inspiration – I took one of my control top undergarments and sewed it to a pair of leggings. Suddenly, not only did the leggings fit perfectly, but they felt comfortable and smooth!” Cohen said.

Cohen created the business providing a ready-to-wear line featuring all-in-one torso, tummy and thigh control with style. Customers can buy a variety of garments such as high waisted ankle legging, tank tops, boot cut leggings, wide leg leggings, denim knit leggings, slimming jackets, skirts, and other shapewear products.

Fashionistas everywhere made Lysse the go-to item for an effortless sleek and sophisticated look, growing the business within only three years. Designed of cotton/spandex, ponte and stretch velvet, the garments hide and control any belly bulge and lend a streamlined appearance with incredible comfort and control. The company plans to expand the line further and accelerate growth not only through North American but internationally as well.

“We were attracted to Lysse because in less than three years the brand expanded rapidly with amazing loyalty among women once they try a pair. Customers embrace the products because of the high-quality and comfort, while helping them feel and look their best. Our goal is to make Lysse apparel a staple for every woman who wants to look and feel their best,” said Devin Anderson, CEO of E&A Industries.

Lysse’s Shapewear line is going to be one of the hottest new trends to emerge. It has been featured in magazines such as InStyle, Glamour and Self and can be found in major retail stores such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, Dillard’s and Lester’s. With other leggings I have found that they tend to ride down and give the mini muffin-top. However, Lysse’s leggings are an item I would buy because of its high-waisted band and cotton/spandex material to avoid the “muffin-top” look.
