• Allan Hubbard,

    Chairman ׀ Partner

    In 1977, Al Hubbard co-founded E&A Companies. Along with searching for new investment opportunities, Al is instrumental in the oversight of E&A’s current portfolio holdings.

    In addition to his work at E&A Companies, Al served in the White House under two different administrations. During the George H.W. Bush administration, Al was Deputy Chief of Staff to Vice President Dan Quayle and Executive Director of the President’s Council on Competitiveness. More recently for President George W. Bush, Al was Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director of the National Economic Council. Al has served on the Board of Directors of the Simon Property Group, Elevance Health, The Heritage Group, the Lumina Foundation, and the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.

    Al earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, his MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School, and his B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

  • Devin Anderson,

    Chief Executive Officer ׀ President ׀ Partner

    Devin Anderson is the Chief Executive Officer / President of E&A companies. Devin oversees E&A’s portfolio companies and leads the acquisition team.

    In 1997, Devin led the acquisition and operations of Gilchrist & Soames, a purveyor of fine English toiletries in the North American independent luxury hotel market. Under his leadership, the company grew from a regional company with 10 employees and $6 million in revenue to a global company with 120 employees and $45 million in revenue. E&A sold Gilchrist & Soames in October 2007 to Swander Pace Capital in San Francisco. More recently, Devin was the President / CEO of Udi’s Healthy Foods, the leading U.S. manufacturer of gluten free baked goods.  Devin guided Udi’s from $6 million in revenue in 2010 to a run rate in excess of $100 million in revenue by June 2012.  E&A sold Udi’s to Boulder Brands in July of 2012.

    Prior to joining E&A companies in 1997, Devin served in a number of political and governmental leadership positions in the Republican Party including Chief of Staff to Indiana Congressman David McIntosh and U.S. Senator Dan Coats.

    Devin received a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin College. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a Trustee of Franklin College and is active in several not-for-profit organizations.

  • Katie Key,

    Partner

    Katie is a Partner at E&A Companies. She serves as a consultant and board member to E&A’s portfolio companies.

    In her most recent operational role, Katie served as President of Escape Campervans from March 2020 to November 2023. During this time, she navigated the company through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and achieved a record year in 2022. From 2016-2020, Katie served as Escape’s Head of Marketing, where she expanded the company’s geographic footprint and drove growth across domestic and international markets.

    Prior to her time at Escape, Katie worked in marketing at Alterra and cut her teeth at two marketing agencies, serving clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

    Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College.

  • Joe Duran,

    Chief Investment Officer

    Joe is the Chief Investment Officer of E&A Companies. He focuses on portfolio management, financial oversight, and investment origination and evaluation across venture capital, private equity, and public markets.

    Prior to joining E&A, Joe served as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and as an Investment Advisor at Goldman Sachs. He also held the roles of COO and CFO at Moneythink, a national financial education organization. Earlier in his career, Joe worked at Target Corporation in Minneapolis and as a Special Education Teacher with Teach For America in the South Bronx.

    Joe holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Teaching, summa cum laude, from Fordham University, and a BBA, summa cum laude, from Miami University.

    President - Lyssé New York

    Justin J. Stankiewicz is President of Lyssé New York, where he oversees the company’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations across wholesale, eCommerce, Amazon, and international. With more than 20 years of experience spanning fashion, digital commerce, and SaaS, he brings a disciplined, results-oriented approach to building and scaling brands. At Lyssé, Justin leads all core business functions, with a focus on driving profitable growth, refining product and assortment, and strengthening retail and consumer partnerships. His leadership is grounded in operational rigor, thoughtful expansion, and a commitment to long-term brand health in a dynamic retail environment.
